TL;DR: In this paper , angle-integrated elastic scattering cross sections were measured on natural carbon samples to confirm existing experimental data and evaluations in the fast neutron region and to guide improvements in resonance parameters, where needed.

TL;DR: In this article, measurements were made at the University of Kentucky Accelerator Laboratory to measure neutron scattering cross sections on both Fe and Na in the region where these gaps occur and to reduce the uncertainties on scattering from the ground state and first excited state of these nuclei.
