Multifragment events from heavy-ion collisions: Sources and excitation functions.
Y. Blumenfeld,Nicola Colonna,P. Roussel-Chomaz,D. N. Delis,K. Hanold,J. C. Meng,Graham F. Peaslee,Q.C. Sui,G. J. Wozniak,Luciano G. Moretto,B. Libby,Alice Mignerey,G. Guarino,N. Santoruvo,I. Iori +14 more
TL;DR: A simple transformation has been applied which gives the excitation energy of the fused system in the simple incomplete-fusion picture and these ``excitation functions'' appear to independent of both the system and bombarding energy.
Equilibrium and non-equilibrium complex fragment emission in 50–100 MeV/u 139La + 12C reactions
D. R. Bowman,Graham F. Peaslee,Nicola Colonna,R. J. Charity,M. A. McMahan,D. N. Delis,H. Han,K.X. Jing,G. J. Wozniak,Luciano G. Moretto,W.L. Kehoe,B. Libby,Alice Mignerey,A. Moroni,S. Angius,I. Iori,A. Pantaleo,G. Guarino +17 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied complex fragment emission in the reaction of 50, 80, and 100 MeV/u 139 La + 12 C and compared the experimental data with statistical compound nucleus decay.
