Interferon-γ for the treatment of metastatic renal cancer: Dose-dependent stimulation and downregulation of beta2 microglobulin and neopterin responses
Wolfgang Aulitzky,G. Gastl,W. E. Aulitzky,Karin Nachbaur,B. Lanske,Georg Kemmler,R. Flener,J. Frick,Ch. Huber +8 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that both the dose and schedule might be of importance for optimization of biological responses to exogenously applied rIFN-gamma.

Acute Effects of Single Doses of Recombinant Interferon-γ on Blood Cell Counts and Lymphocyte Subsets in Patients with Advanced Renal Cell Cancer
W. E. Aulitzky,W. Aulitzky,G. Gastl,B. Lanske,J. Reitter,J. Frick,H. Tilg,M. Berger,Marco J Herold,C. Huber +9 more
TL;DR: Results indicated that white blood cells were transiently removed from the blood circulation after administration of IFN-gamma and the preferential reduction of CD8+ lymphocytes resulted in a temporary increase of the T4/T8 ratio in these patients.

Acute Effects of Recombinant IFN-γ on White Blood Cell Counts and Lymphocyte Subsets in the Peripheral Blood of Cancer Patients
W. E. Aulitzky,Wolfgang Aulitzky,G. Gastl,B. Lanske,J. Reitter,J. Frick,H Tilg,M. Berger,Manfred Herold,Ch. Huber +9 more
- 01 Jan 1990
TL;DR: The present study aimed at testing the effect that different dose levels of IFN- γ administered as a single dose have on white blood cell counts, number of T cell subsets, natural killer cells and human leukocyte antigen in the peripheral blood of patients treated for metastasizing renal cell cancer.
