TL;DR: The ENRICH trial as mentioned in this paper showed that peer support offered significant promise for those who use it, but the authors of the article failed to consider the effect of the relationship quality between patient and peer support worker, and instead treated the patient-peer relationship like manufactured widgets or pills rather than human interactions.
