TL;DR: Using the transient field technique, the magnetic moments of the second excited second excited (2}+}$ states in $^{92,94}-mathrm{Zr}$ have been measured for the first time as discussed by the authors, and the large positive $g$ factors are found to be a consequence of weak proton-neutron coupling combined with the $Z=40$ subshell closure.

TL;DR: In this paper, the absolute and relative cross sections of the {sup 236}U(n,f) cross section were derived using both relative and absolute surrogate techniques over an equivalent neutron energy range of 0 to 20 MeV.

TL;DR: In this paper, a self-supporting ∼761-μg/cm 2 metallic 238 U foil was bombarded with a 42-MeV 3 He 2+ beam from the 88-Inch Cyclotron at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL).
