TL;DR: In this article, very high energy (VHE) emission is identified as an SNR and the derived flux upper limits are not in contradiction with the canonical supernova acceleration paradigm, and they can constrain typical ambient density values around shell-type SNRs to n ≤ 7 cm−3 and electron-to-proton energy fractions above 10 TeV to ϵ ep ≤ 5 × 10−3.

TL;DR: In this article, a gamma-ray emission from the shell-type supernova remnant (SNR) RX J0852 was analyzed using an extended High Energy Spectroscopic System (H.E.S.) data set at very high energies (E > 100 GeV) to better characterize its spectral properties and its distribution over the SNR.
