Acute promyelocytic leukemia in 57 previously untreated patients.
Catherine Cordonnier,Jean Paul Vernant,B. Brun,Michèle Gouault Heilmann,Mathieu Kuentz,Philippe Bierling,Jean Pierre Farcet,Martine Rodet,Nagib Duedari,Michèle Imbert,Hélène Jouault,Patrice Mannoni,Felix Reyes,B. Dreyfus,Henri Rochant +14 more
TL;DR: The worsening of coagulation parameters during induction therapy, with or without initial DIC, significantly increased the occurrence of renal and respiratory failure which were particularly frequent during the first month.

Treatment of inflammatory breast cancer with combination chemotherapy and mastectomy versus breast conservation.
B. Brun,Yves Otmezguine,F. Feuilhade,M. Julien,J. P. Lebourgeois,E. Calitchi,A. M. Roucayrol,G. Ganem,J. Huart,Bernard Pierquin +9 more
TL;DR: Methods of breast conservation which limit the high dose volume to the tumor site do not assure local control in IBC, and better systemic treatment is needed.

Early response to chemotherapy as a prognostic factor in Hodgkin's disease
Mathieu Kuentz,Felix Reyes,B. Brun,J. P. Lebourgeois,Philippe Bierling,Jean-Pierre Farcet,Jean-Paul Vernant,Michèle Imbert,M. Le Bezu,Henri Rochant,B. Dreyfus +10 more
TL;DR: The response to initial chemotherapy provides a new prognostic factor that may serve to delineate a “high‐risk” group of patients that deserve aggressive therapy while those in the favorable group would benefit from a less aggressive combined regimen that would minimize long‐term complications.

Acute non myeloid leukaemia in adults. Prognostic factors in 92 patients.
B. Brun,Jean-Paul Vernant,Micheline Tulliez,Kuentz M,J. Deregnaucourt,L. Shultze,Felix Reyes,Henri Rochant,Dreyfus B +8 more
TL;DR: The results suggested that myelofibrosis could be a poor long-term prognosis factor as well.

Chronic granulocytic aplasia with partial blastic bone marrow involvement. Demonstration of myeloid origin of the blasts by ultrastructural detection of myeloperoxidase. A study of three cases
TL;DR: The detection of myeloperoxidase in the blasts at the ultrastructural level permits the diagnosis of a myeloid disease and acquired dysmyelopoiesis differs from classical partial myeoblastosis by a normal cellularity of the bone marrow and an absence of granulocytic maturation.
