Ultrafast photodissociation dynamics of a hexaarylbiimidazole derivative with pyrenyl groups: dispersive reaction from femtosecond to 10 ns time regions.
Hiroshi Miyasaka,Yusuke Satoh,Yukihide Ishibashi,Syoji Ito,Yutaka Nagasawa,Seiji Taniguchi,Haik Chosrowjan,Noboru Mataga,Daisuke Kato,Azusa Kikuchi,Jiro Abe +10 more
TL;DR: The photodissociation dynamics of a hexaarylbiimidazole (HABI) derivative with two pyrenyl groups was investigated by time-resolved transient absorption spectroscopy and fluorescence measurements and showed the dynamic red shift in the time region <100 ps.

A New Family of π-Conjugated Delocalized Biradicals: Electronic Structures of 1,4-Bis(2,5-diphenylimidazol-4-ylidene)cyclohexa-2,5-diene
TL;DR: Controlling the equilibrium between a diamagnetic state and a paramagnetic state will provide significant progress in the field of Biradical chemistry, and the materials with the biradical character in a ground state will lead to a novel development of molecular-based organic magnets.

Ultrafast laser photolysis study on photodissociation dynamics of a hexaarylbiimidazole derivative
Yusuke Satoh,Yukihide Ishibashi,Syoji Ito,Yutaka Nagasawa,Hiroshi Miyasaka,Haik Chosrowjan,Seiji Taniguchi,Noboru Mataga,Daisuke Kato,Azusa Kikuchi,Jiro Abe +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the dynamics of the photodissociation process of a hexaarylbiimidazole derivative, 2,2′-di(ortho-chlorophenyl)-4,4′,5,5′-tetraphenylbiimidonazole (o-Cl-HABI), in benzene solution was investigated by means of femtosecond-nanosecond laser spectroscopy.

The first isolable pentacoordinate 1,2λ5-azaphosphetine: synthesis, X-ray crystallographic analysis, and dynamic behaviour
TL;DR: The first stable 1,2 lambda 5-azaphosphetine, whose structure was determined by X-ray crystallographic analysis, and variable temperature NMR spectroscopy revealed the existence of equilibrium with the corresponding alpha-iminoalkylidenephosphorane.

Photoexcited states of UV absorbers, benzophenone derivatives.
TL;DR: The UV absorption, phosphorescence and phosphorescence‐excitation spectra of benzophenone (BP) derivatives used as organic UV absorbers have been observed in rigid solutions at 77 K and the possible mechanism of the observed phosphorescence enhancement is discussed.
