A Scalable Mobility-Centric Architecture for Named Data Networking.
TL;DR: An in-depth study of the proposed architecture is presented and demonstrative results on its throughput and overhead performance at different levels of mobility proving its scalability and effectiveness, when compared to the current NDN based forwarding strategies.
Mobility Study for Named Data Networking in Wireless Access Networks
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present their findings on the mobility-based performance of Named Data Networking (NDN) in wireless access networks, and show that the current NDN architecture is not efficient in handling mobility and architectural enhancements need to be done to fully support mobility of consumers and producers.

Flow-driven forwarding architecture for information centric networks
Aytac Azgin,Ravishankar Ravindran,Guoqiang Wang +2 more
- 28 May 2015
TL;DR: In this article, a flow-driven forwarding strategy includes receiving an Interest packet, where the interest packet includes a flow state indicator, and content associated with the Interest packet is checked to determine whether that content is locally stored.

Design Considerations for Applying ICN to IoT
Bengt Ahlgren,Anders Lindgren,Yanyong Zhang,Jeff Burke,Aytac Azgin,Luigi Grieco,Ravishankar Ravindran +6 more
- 02 May 2019
TL;DR: The general IoT demands, and ICN features that support these requirements, are summarized, and the challenges to realize an ICN-based IoT framework are discussed, but the goal of this draft is not to offer any specific ICn-IoT architectural proposal.

pit/LESS: Stateless Forwarding in Content Centric Networks
Aytac Azgin,Ravishankar Ravindran,Guoqiang Wang +2 more
- 01 Dec 2016
TL;DR: This work presents a novel approach to support stateless forwarding in information centric networks with emphasis on the CCN/NDN architectures by proposing a space-efficient in-packet filter based on the encoded counting bloom filter.
