Venous vessel wall thickness in lower extremity is increased in male patients with Behcet's disease.
Fatma Alibaz-Oner,Rabia Ergelen,Aydan Mutis,Z Ertürk,Ruslan Asadov,Gonca Mumcu,Tulin Ergun,Haner Direskeneli +7 more
TL;DR: Assessment of femoral vein thickness with US may be a candidate diagnostic tool, especially in young males suspected of Behcet’s disease, and increased CFV thickness in BD patients independent of vascular involvement is found.

Chordoma: a case series and review of the literature
Ozkan Alan,Tugba Akin Telli,Ozlem Ercelep,Eda Tanrikulu Simsek,Tugba Basoglu Tuylu,Aydan Mutis,Rahib Hasanov,Serap Kaya,Nalan Akgul Babacan,Faysal Dane,Perran Fulden Yumuk +10 more
TL;DR: Chordoma has few systemic treatment options and they have limited benefit, so Randomized trials with large patient numbers are unfeasible in this rare disease and new treatment strategies are needed.
Post-thrombotic syndrome and venous disease-specific quality of life in patients with vascular Behçet's disease
Fatma Alibaz-Oner,Belgin Aldag,Mustafa Aldag,A. Ugur Unal,Aydan Mutis,Tayfur Toptas,Tulin Ergun,Haner Direskeneli +7 more
TL;DR: Lower PTS risk and better venous disease-specific QoL, symptom severity, and venous disability scores in VBD patients compared with the non-BD group are found.

THU0557 Venous vessel wall thickness in lower extremity is increased in male behcet's disease patients without vascular involvement
TL;DR: An increased venous vessel wall thickness in lower extremity was shown in male BD patients without vascular involvement, which might be an early sign of venous inflammation in patients with BD rather than a result of non-specific systemic inflammation.

AB0540 Post-Thrombotic Syndrome and Venous Disease Spesific Quality of Life in Patients with Vascular Behçet's Disease
Fatma Alibaz-Oner,Belgin Aldag,Mustafa Aldag,Ali Ugur Unal,Aydan Mutis,T. Toptas,Tulin Ergun,Haner Direskeneli +7 more
TL;DR: Findings suggest that successful control of vascular inflammation through treatment in VBD might explain lower PTS and better venous disease spesific QoL, symptom severity and venous disability scores in V BD compared to NBD group.
