Smart superwetting COF membrane for controllable oil/water separation
Qian Sun,Jin-Tao Du,Linghao Wang,Ayan Yao,Ziye Song,Linghao Liu,Dong Cao,Ji Young Ma,W.L Lim,Wenjuan He,Cailong Zhou,Jiangtao Liu +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a robust and loose COF membrane using the collected COF nanofibers by filtration assembly method was obtained, which can achieve the controllable and switchable separation of light oil/water mixture, heavy oil/Water mixture, waterin-oil emulsion, and oil-in-water emulsion with high separation efficiency and permeance.

Fabrication of thin-film composite membranes for organic solvent nanofiltration by mixed monomeric polymerization on ionic liquid/water interfaces
TL;DR: In this paper, an ionic liquid assisted method was developed to fabricate polyamide/poly (m-phenylene isophthalamide) (PMIA) thin-film composite (TFC) membranes for organic solvent nanofiltration (OSN).

Fabrication of organic solvent nanofiltration membrane using commercial PVDF substrate via interfacial polymerization on top of metal-organic frameworks interlayer
Ayan Yao,Dan Hua,Zhuo Fan Gao,Jun L. Pan,Abdul-Rauf Ibrahim,Dayuan Zheng,Yiping Hong,Ya Liu,Guowu Zhan +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the Cu2O nanoparticles were used as a copper ion source to cover the large pores and penetrated the surface layer of the PVDF substrate, and the obtained PVDF/i-Cu-TCPP was then used to conduct the facial polymerization (IP) and to fabricate the VB12/ethanol mixtures.

Integration of P84 and porphyrin–based 2D MOFs (M−TCPP, M = Zn, Cu, Co, Ni) for mixed matrix membranes towards enhanced performance in organic solvent nanofiltration
Ayan Yao,Guowu Zhan,Dan Hua,Feigang Zhao,Dayuan Zheng,Junyang Pan,Yiping Hong,Ya Liu,Xiaoping Rao,Shu-Feng Zhou,Guowu Zhan +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of tetrakis(4-carboxyphenyl)porphyrin (abbreviation: TCPP) based metal-organic frameworks (MOFs, M−TCPP (M=Zn, Cu, Co, Ni)) have been synthesized in the form of two-dimensional nanosheets, which were then used as thin fillers in P84 matrix to fabricate M-MMMs for the organic solvent nanofiltration (OSN) application.
