Assessment of Genetic Diversity in Nigella (Nigella sativa L.) Collections Using Principle Component Analysis
Sujay Singh,Avinash Kumar,Banshidhar,Sandeep Kumar Suman,Ashutosh Kumar,Prem Singh,Kaushal Kishor,U. K. Singh,V. K. Choudhary,Rajesh Kumar +9 more
TL;DR: The k-mean of different clusters indicated that genotype falling in cluster III possess high values for all the traits under study indicating their potentiality as a parent in hybridization programmes for further improvement of Nigella.
Assessment of Gene Action for Grain Micronutrient Content, Yield and Yield Contributing Traits in Rice (Oryza sativa L.)
Ashutosh Kumar,Avinash Kumar,Neetu Singh,Rajesh Kumar,Nilanjaya,S. K. Singh,Mithilesh Kumar Singh,Aman Tigga,Banshidhar +8 more
TL;DR: Dominance [h] gene effect and dominance × dominance interaction acted in opposite directions, indicating duplicate type of gene action controlling the expression of both grain Fe and grain Zn content which could be a bottleneck to exploit heterosis.
Exploration of Possibilities to Identify Heterotic Cross Combinations in Aromatic Rice (Oryza sativa L.) for Grain Yield and Quality Parameters
TL;DR: In this paper, the combining ability and specific combining ability variances were significant for all the traits that indicated the role of both additive and non-additive genetic components in the expression of these traits.
