Engineering sensorial delay to control phototaxis and emergent collective behaviors
TL;DR: In this article, the authors show that the delay between sensing and reacting to a signal can determine the individual and collective long-term behavior of autonomous agents whose motion is intrinsically noisy, and they experimentally demonstrate that the collective behaviour of a group of phototactic robots capable of emitting a radially decaying light field can be tuned from segregation to aggregation and clustering by controlling the delay with which they change their propulsion speed in response to the light intensity they measure.

Stratonovich-to-Itô transition in noisy systems with multiplicative feedback
TL;DR: It is experimentally demonstrated that the convention for a given system may vary with the operational conditions, and it is shown that a noisy electric circuit shifts from obeying Stratonovich calculus to obeying Itô calculus.

An SDE approximation for stochastic differential delay equations with colored state-dependent noise
TL;DR: In this paper, a general multidimensional stochastic differential delay equation (SDDE) with colored state-dependent noises is considered and its limit is derived using a theorem about convergence of stochastically integral integrals.

- 03 Oct 2022
TL;DR: In this article , the authors proposed to fuse the merits of a common sensor in aero-optical sensing, the Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor, with the increased spatial information of a Digital Holography wave front sensor, training on supersonic wind-tunnel wavefront data provided by the Aero-Effects Laboratory at the Air Force Research Laboratory Directed Energy Directorate.
