TL;DR: The accuracy of Omani subjects’ on self-reporting of diabetes mellitus (DM) and hypertension as compared with the diagnosis of these diseases according to the pre-set criteria is investigated and whether certain subject’s characteristics influence the accuracy of self- reporting of these chronic diseases in a community based survey is examined.
