Molecular and biochemical aspects of photodynamic action.
TL;DR: This review is based on publications from December, 1977, to December, 1978 and will be divided into two parts considering: Papers of the photodynamic action with furocournarins and related compounds, and new publications about the photodynamics action with other dyes, mainly acridines and thiopyronine.

[Synthesis of RNA in Saccharomyces after photodynamic treatment or irradiation with x-rays (author's transl)].
TL;DR: In this article, the RNS-Synthese inSaccharomyces-Zellen wird bis zu 10 Std nach photodynamischer Behandlung mit Thiopyronin and vergleichsweise auch nach Rontgenbestrahlung untersucht.

The effect of thiopyronine concentration and of temperature on the photodynamic inactivation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
TL;DR: The thiopyronine-sensitized photodynamic inactivation of the colony-forming ability of Saccharomyces cells is dependent on the irradiation time, on the concentration of the dye in the cell and on the temperature during irradiation.

Thiopyronine-sensitized photodynamic inactivation of RNA synthesis in vitro.
TL;DR: The photodynamic inactivation of a cell-free transcriptional system with yeast components was investigated in vitro and it was concluded that the polymerase-DNA complex is more sensitive to photo-oxidation than the individual components.
