Enhancement of adsorption efficiency of heavy metal Cu(II) and Zn(II) onto cationic surfactant modified bentonite
TL;DR: In this paper, the surface modification by the cationic surfactant (Bencylhexadecyldimethyl ammonium chloride, BCDMACl) was successful in this respect, and was characterized by FTIR spectroscopy, XRF, BET, and swelling test.

Adsorption of hexavalent chromium onto alkali-modified biochar derived from Lepironia articulata: A kinetic, equilibrium, and thermodynamic study.
TL;DR: The overall results revealed that LABC can be utilized as an environmentally friendly, inexpensive, and effective adsorbent in Cr(VI) removal and the thermodynamic parameters confirm the adsorption process to be an endothermic, spontaneous, and increased disorder.

Potential of BCDMACl modified bentonite in simultaneous adsorption of heavy metal Ni (II) and humic acid
TL;DR: In this article, a study of adsorption potential on a cationic surfactant (bencylhexadecyldimethyl ammonium chloride, BCDMACl) modified bentonite compared to natural bentonite (NB) was conducted.

Frequency of acute heart failure in patients undergoing thrombolysis for anterior wall myocardial infarction.
TL;DR: It is concluded that the frequency of acute heart failure is higher in patients undergoing thrombolysis for acute anterior wall myocardial infarction and needs to draw attention, however, some other trials are required to validate the results.
A comparative study of plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) and sowing methods on nutrient availability in wheat and rhizosphere soil under salinity stress
TL;DR: In this article , the role of plant growth promoting rhizobacteria and sowing methods on physicochemical properties, nutrients and heavy metals content of rhizosphere soil and their translocation to plant was evaluated.
