TL;DR: It is hypothesised that the increased zinc level in AD patients is caused by an increase in the amount of ZEN terminals, which could be the result of a sprout of Zen terminals in diseased areas of the brain.

Valproate for treatment of chronic central pain after spinal cord injury. A double-blind cross-over study.
TL;DR: No significant analgesic effects of valproate could be demonstrated although serum concentration and dose reached a high level, and it is recommended that further studies be performed.

Aquaporin-1 Is not Expressed in Descending Thin Limbs of Short-Loop Nephrons
TL;DR: The findings suggest that the mechanisms of water transport in the descending thin limbs of short loop nephrons should be reevaluated and the roles of aquaporin-1 and UT-A2 in the countercurrent multiplier and water conversation may need to be readdressed.
