Trans-stilbene oxide-induced sister chromatid exchange in cultured human lymphocytes: influence of GSTM1 and GSTT1 genotypes
TL;DR: The findings suggest that the lack of the GSTM1 gene, resulting in reduced detoxification capacity, increases individual sensitivity to the genotoxic effects of TSO.

TL;DR: The findings suggest that handling of tank cars containing complex chemical mixtures poses a genotoxic risk, which may be reduced by preventive measures, and several genetic polymorphisms seem to modify the genot toxic effect or baseline CA level.

Role of NAD(P)H:quinone oxidoreductase polymorphism at codon 187 in susceptibility to lung, laryngeal and oral/pharyngeal cancers
TL;DR: The results are consistent with the hypothesis that lack of NQO1 activity may be involved in some smoking-related cancers, however, they were based on small numbers of individuals with the putative atrisk genotype, and the associations did not reach statistical significance.
