cDNA cloning and deduced amino acid sequence of fibrinolytic enzyme (lebetase) from Vipera lebetina snake venom.
TL;DR: The complete amino acid sequence of lebetase is deduced from the nucleotide sequence of a cDNA clone isolated by screening a venomous gland c DNA library of Central Asian Vipera lebetina snake.

Factor X activator from Vipera lebetina venom is synthesized from different genes.
Ene Siigur,Anu Aaspõllu,Katrin Trummal,Külli Tõnismägi,Indrek Tammiste,Nisse Kalkkinen,Jüri Siigur +6 more
TL;DR: These are the first cloned factor X activator heavy and light chains and it is demonstrated that the heavy and heavy chains are synthesized from different genes.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors evaluated food environment policy implementation in European countries and identified priority actions for governments to create healthy food environments, and recommended immediate action on setting standards for nutrients of concern in processed foods, improvement of school food environments and fruit and vegetable subsidies, unhealthy food and beverage taxation, and restrictions on unhealthy food marketing to children.

Sequence diversity of Vipera lebetina snake venom gland serine proteinase homologs--result of alternative-splicing or genome alteration.
TL;DR: Four clones encoding homologous protein(ase)s were isolated from the Vipera lebetina (snake) venom gland cDNA library and the possibilities of generation of such clones via trans-splicing of the primary gene transcript, by exon shuffling or by unequal crossing-over on the genome level are discussed.

5'-Nucleotidase from Vipera lebetina venom.
Katrin Trummal,Mari Samel,Anu Aaspõllu,Külli Tõnismägi,Tiina Titma,Juhan Subbi,Jüri Siigur,Ene Siigur +7 more
TL;DR: The cloning and sequencing of the 5'-NT coding cDNA resulted in 5'-truncated construct, and MALDI-TOF and Orbitrap mass-spectrometry of the tryptic peptides confirmed the translated N-terminally truncated protein sequence concordance to the5'-NT isolated from the venom.
