Thermo-mechanical, rheological, structural and antimicrobial properties of bionanocomposite films based on fish skin gelatin and silver-copper nanoparticles
TL;DR: In this paper, the development and characterization of bionanocomposite films based on fish skin gelatin (FSG) and bimetallic Ag-Cu nanoparticles (Ag-Cu NPs) were investigated.

Impact of high pressure treatment on functional, rheological, pasting, and structural properties of lentil starch dispersions.
TL;DR: It can be inferred that the functional properties of pressure-treated LS are mainly based on the structural destruction of granules, which is significantly influenced by the pressure treatment especially at 600MPa, resulting in a considerable decrease in peak viscosity, breakdown and final viscosities, and an increase in peak time.

Rheological, structural and functional properties of high-pressure treated quinoa starch in dispersions
TL;DR: It can be inferred that the functional properties of QS could be significantly modified/improved with the application a pressure-treatment of 600 MPa.

Comparative effects of untreated and 3-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane treated ZnO nanoparticle reinforcement on properties of polylactide-based nanocomposite films.
TL;DR: Developed films especially incorporated with ZnO(ST) were found to be active against both Gram-negative (Salmonella Typhimurium) and Gram-positive (Listeria monocytogenes) bacteria and could be considered as environment-friendly active packaging material for food preservation.

Zinc oxide/clove essential oil incorporated type B gelatin nanocomposite formulations: A proof-of-concept study for 3D printing applications
Jasim Ahmed,Mehrajfatema Mulla,Antony Joseph,Mohammed Ejaz,Mohammed Maniruzzaman,Mohammed Maniruzzaman +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, a mixture of bovine skin gelatin (BSG)/zinc oxide (ZnO)/clove essential oil (CEO) nanocomposites films were fabricated by a solution-cast.
