TL;DR: In this article , using single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) and a mouse model of PDGF-D overexpression in retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) cells, the authors found that PDGFD-D over-expression markedly upregulated the key immunoproteasome genes, leading to increased antigen processing/presentation capacity of RPE cells.
