A reduced switch count three-phase AC motor drive
Cursino Brandao Jacobina,R.L.A. Ribeiro,E.R.C. da Silva,Antonio Marcus Nogueira Lima,T.M. Oliveira +4 more
- 04 Mar 2001
TL;DR: In this paper, a reduced switch count three-phase AC motor drive system using a five-leg converter topology, composed of ten switches and providing bidirectional power flow and power factor control is presented.

Um modelo diferencial para histerese magnética: representação algébrica recursiva
Luiz Alberto Luz de Almeida,Gurdip Singh Deep,Antonio Marcus Nogueira Lima,H. Neff +3 more
- 01 Mar 2003
TL;DR: In this article, a simple algebraic model to describe magnetic hysteresis is presented, which has low computational burden and reduced mathematical complexity, permitting thus a fast numerical implementation and simple parameter estimation procedure.
dc-Sheet resistance as sensitive monitoring tool of protein immobilization on thin metal films.
Helmut Neff,T. Beeby,Antonio Marcus Nogueira Lima,M. Borre,Carsten Thirstrup,W. Zong,L.A.L. de Almeida +6 more
TL;DR: The suitability of high resolution, in situ dc-sheet resistance monitoring (SRM) as a simplified and reliable sensing technique towards detection and tracking of protein immobilization has been explored and clearly structured, pronounced and fully reproducible film resistance modulations have been resolved.

Computational model for identifying stereotyped behaviors and determining the activation level of pseudo-autistic
TL;DR: A computational model of low intrusiveness is proposed to infer activation levels from recognized SBs and the Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy technique based on the Fuzzy C-Means algorithm allowed one to determine and differentiate the activation levels of the stereotyped behaviors considered in the present study.

Control of unbalanced three-phase power electronic systems
R.O. de Carvalho,Cursino B. Jacobina,Antonio Marcus Nogueira Lima,E.R.C. da Silva +3 more
- 08 Oct 2000
TL;DR: The control strategy proposed is derived from the double controller scheme that employs one controller for the positive sequence and another for the negative sequence and an extension of the control strategy to deal with the presence of high frequency harmonics in the system is addressed.
