The feature-specific propagation of orientation and direction adaptation from areas 17 to 21a in cats
TL;DR: This study compared the orientation and direction adaptation evoked by drifting gratings and stationary flashing gratings, as well as moving random dots, in areas 17 and 21a simultaneously of cats to suggest the feature-specific propagation of the adaptation effect along the visual stream.
The role of gingival mechanoreceptors in the tactile function of dental implants
TL;DR: The role of gingival mechanoreceptors in dental implant osseception at the cortical response level was investigated in this article , where the gingiva of the upper-left canine implant was stripped off under local anesthesia in five cats.

Differentiation between Phyllodes Tumors and Fibroadenomas through Breast Ultrasound: Deep-Learning Model Outperforms Ultrasound Physicians
Zhao‐ting Shi,Xiaowen Ma,Anqi Jin,Jian Zhou,Na Li,Danli Sheng,Cai Chang,Jiangang Chen,Jiawei Li +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , three deep learning models (i.e., ResNet, VGG, and GoogLeNet) were applied to classify fibroadenomas (FAs) and phyllodes tumors (PTs).
Response of the somatosensory cortex following thermal stimuli to dental implants
TL;DR: In this paper , the cortical response of the somatosensory cortex following thermal stimuli to dental implants was investigated, where five implants were inserted at the site of the left upper canine with immediate implant placement protocols.

Composite nanometer material with fluorescence enhancement effect, and preparation method and application thereof
Hongbo Yu,Li Lingzhi,Zhong Li,Anqi Jin,Hongjian Li +4 more
- 23 Feb 2018
TL;DR: In this article, a silica-coated nanometer gold composite material with silica as the shell and nanometer Gold as the core is presented, which can enhance the fluorescence effect of a fluorescent dye 2,7-difluorofluorescein.
