Nutrient recovery from swine lagoon water by Spirodela punctata
TL;DR: The N:P ratio in swine lagoon water is adequate for growing the duckweed and the rates of N and P uptake, and duckweed growth increased with the increase of the initial N andP concentrations in the medium.

The chrysopine family of amadori-type crown gall opines
William Scott Chilton,Anne Stomp,Vincent Beringue,Vincent Beringue,H. Bouzar,Valerie Vaudequin-Dransart,Annik Petit,Yves Dessaux +7 more
TL;DR: Crown gall tumours induced by four groups of Agrobacterium tumefaciens isolates were found to contain mannityl opine-related metabolites derived from condensation of glucose with glutamine followed by Amadori rearrangement.

The Chrysopine Family of Amadori‐Type Crown Gall Opines.
William Scott Chilton,Anne Stomp,Vincent Beringue,Vincent Beringue,H. Bouzar,Valerie Vaudequin-Dransart,Annik Petit,Yves Dessaux +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, four groups of Agrobacterium tumefaciens isolates, derived from galls from four different locations in North and South America and Europe, were found to contain mannityl opine-related metabolites derived from condensation of glucose with glutamine followed by Amadori rearrangement.

Statistical significance and biological relevance of a sinusoidal pattern detected in translational free energy signals
Lalit Ponnala,Anne Stomp,Donald L. Bitzer,Mladen A. Vouk +3 more
- 28 May 2006
TL;DR: It is hypothesized that a variable free energy pattern arising from repeated hybridizations of the rRNA tail with a moving window of mRNA sequence could encode information required to maintain translational reading frame and this signal should exist in all coding regions.
