Impact of Wildfires on Ozone Exceptional Events in the Western U.S.
TL;DR: A statistical model estimates the maximum daily 8 h average O3 as a function of several meteorological and temporal variables for three urban areas in the western U.S. and indicates an important role for peroxyacetyl nitrate (PAN) in producing O3 during transport from the California wildfires.

Spatial and seasonal variability of measured anthropogenic non-methane hydrocarbons in urban atmospheres: Implication on emission ratios
Anne Boynard,Agnès Borbon,Agnès Borbon,Agnès Borbon,Thierry Léonardis,Barbara Barletta,Simone Meinardi,Donald R. Blake,Nadine Locoge +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the spatial and seasonal variability of anthropogenic non-methane hydrocarbons (NMHC) and determine the present NMHC emission ratios relative to acetylene, a useful metric to evaluate and constraint emission inventories.

Boundary layer versus free tropospheric CO budget and variability over the United States during summertime
TL;DR: In this article, the regional weather research and forecasting model with chemistry (WRF-Chem) version 3.2 is used to analyze the carbon monoxide (CO) budget and spatiotemporal variability over the United States in summer 2008.
