Distinct molecular profile of IRF4-rearranged large B-cell lymphoma
Joan Enric Ramis-Zaldivar,Blanca Gonzalez-Farre,Olga Balagué,Veronica Celis,Ferran Nadeu,Julia Salmeron-Villalobos,Mara Andrés,Idoia Martin-Guerrero,Marta Garrido-Pontnou,Ayman Gaafar,Mariona Suñol,Carmen Bárcena,Federico Garcia-Bragado,Maitane Andión,Daniel Azorín,Itziar Astigarraga,Maria Sagaseta de Ilurdoz,Constantino Sábado,Soledad Gallego,Jaime Verdu-Amoros,Rafael Fernandez-Delgado,Vanesa Perez,Gustavo Tapia,Anna Mozos,Montserrat Torrent,Palma Solano-Páez,Alfredo Rivas-Delgado,Ivan Dlouhy,Guillem Clot,Anna Enjuanes,Armando López-Guillermo,Pallavi Galera,Matthew J. Oberley,Alanna Maguire,Colleen Ramsower,Lisa M. Rimsza,Leticia Quintanilla-Martinez,Elaine S. Jaffe,Elias Campo,Itziar Salaverria +39 more
TL;DR: The molecular heterogeneity of pediatric and young adult LBCL is unraveled, the classification of this group of tumors is improved, and new parameters for risk stratification are provided.

Immunoarchitecture of lymphoid tissue in HIV-infection during antiretroviral therapy correlates with viral persistence.
Llucia Alos,Pilar Navarrete,Vanesa Morente,Felipe García,Marta Garrido,M. Plana,Anna Mozos,Anna López,Cristina Gil,Tomás Pumarola,Miguel Caballero,José Luis Blanch,Emilio Fumero,José M. Miró,Teresa Gallart,José M. Gatell,Elias Campo +16 more
TL;DR: In HIV-infection the impact of treatment can only be assessed completely in the lymphoid tissue reservoir, where most of the virus is stored and associated with follicular dendritic cells.

Factors associated with collagen deposition in lymphoid tissue in long-term treated HIV-infected patients.
Alba Díaz,Llucia Alos,Agathe León,Anna Mozos,Miguel Caballero,Antonio Martinez,Montserrat Plana,Teresa Gallart,Cristina Gil,Manuel Leal,José M. Gatell,Felipe García +11 more
TL;DR: Fibrosis in lymphoid tissue was associated with a poor reconstitution of CD4+ T cells and long-term antiretroviral therapy did not reverse this abnormality, and HIV infection, older age, a detectable level of lymphoids tissue viral load in treated patients and protease inhibitor-sparing regimens seem to favour fibrosis inymphoid tissue.

LMO2-negative Expression Predicts the Presence of MYC Translocations in Aggressive B-Cell Lymphomas
Luis Colomo,Ivonne Vazquez,Natalia Papaleo,Blanca Espinet,A. Ferrer,Catalina Franco,Laura Comerma,Silvia F. Hernandez,Xavier Calvo,Antonio Salar,Fina Climent,Jose Luis Mate,Pilar Forcada,Anna Mozos,Lara Nonell,Antonio Martínez,Anna Carrió,Dolors Costa,Ivan Dlouhy,Itziar Salaverria,José I. Martín-Subero,Armando López-Guillermo,Alexandra Valera,Elias Campo +23 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that LMO2 loss may be a good predictor for the presence of MYC translocation in CD10+ LBCL, and strategies based on an initial immunophenotypes screening to select cases with a high probability of carrying the translocation may be useful.

Lymphoid tissue collagen deposition in HIV-infected patients correlates with the imbalance between matrix metalloproteinases and their inhibitors.
Alba Díaz,Felipe García,Anna Mozos,Miguel Caballero,Agathe León,Antonio Martinez,Cristina Gil,Montserrat Plana,Teresa Gallart,José M. Gatell,Llucia Alos +10 more
TL;DR: To the authors' knowledge, this is the first time that MMP/TIMP imbalance has been correlated with lymphoid tissue collagen deposition and incomplete immune recovery in HIV-infected patients, even after long-term antiretroviral treatment.
