Assessing the social life cycle impacts of circular economy
TL;DR: In this article , a systematic literature review was conducted using Scopus Database, Google Scholar, and Web of Science search terms to identify the social impacts of circular economy in existing literature, to compile relevant social indicators in the context of CE, and to analyze the current role of S-LCA in the assessment of CE concepts.

A framework to identify environmental-economic trade-offs by combining life cycle assessment and life cycle costing – A case study of aluminium production
TL;DR: In this paper, a case study of different aluminium production scenarios was conducted to identify dependencies between environmental and economic performance applying LCA/LCC-integration, and a practicable framework for LCA and LCCintegration and for visual result communication of trade-offs meant for decision makers was proposed.

Circular life cycle sustainability assessment: An integrated framework
Anna Luthin,Marzia Traverso,Robert H. Crawford +2 more
TL;DR: An integrated framework for circular life cycle sustainability assessment (C‐LCSA) is developed considering technical circularity and the three dimensions of sustainability. The framework includes LCA, LCC, S‐LCA, and CA and identifies appropriate indicators for C‐LCSA.

Demonstrating circular life cycle sustainability assessment – a case study of recycled carbon concrete
Anna Luthin,Robert H. Crawford,Marzia Traverso +2 more
TL;DR: This study demonstrates the circular life cycle sustainability assessment (C-LCSA) framework on recycled carbon concrete, showing high material circularity (0.8184) and lower global warming potential, but higher human toxicity potential and production costs.
