Bidirectional chemotherapy in gastric cancer (GC) with peritoneal carcinomatosis (PC) combining intravenous chemotherapy with intraperitoneal chemotherapy with low-dose cisplatin and doxorubicin administered as a pressurized aerosol: An open-label, phase II study.
Vladimir Khomiakov,Andrey Ryabov,Larisa Bolotina,Anna Utkina,Vadim Cheremisov,Ilya Kolobaev,Andrey A. Ivanov,Anna Chayka,Dmitry Sobolev +8 more
TL;DR: Patients with primary or recurrent GC, who received earlier one or two lines of systemic chemotherapy, didn’t receive 4 XELOX courses before PIPAC, and criteria of progression included 50% and more PCI increase or distant metastases.

[Microsatellite instability in gastric cancer is a predictor of a favorable prognosis].
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors evaluated the frequency of microsatellite instability in gastric adenocarcinomas in patients of the Russian Federation, determination of the relationship of micro-Satellite instability with clinical and morphological characteristics and the impact on the prognosis.

[PD-L1 expression in EBV-associated gastric carcinomas].
Natalya Danilova,Tat'jana N. Sotnikova,Dmitry V. Kalinin,N A Oleynikova,Anna Chayka,Vladimir M. Khomyakov,V. Kakotkin,D V Vychuzhanin,Yulia Andreeva,P. Malkov +9 more
TL;DR: A single PD-L1 status does not significantly affect the prognosis in patients with gastric cancer, including those in the group of EBV-associated carcinomas, and can only be considered in conjunction with 'classic' clinical and morphological characteristics, primarily with the stage of the tumor process, since they determine the prognostic properties of the tumors.

[Study of gastric adenocarcinomas association with the Epstein-Barr virus-encoded small RNAs].
N V Danilova,I.A. Mikhailov,Dmitry V. Kalinin,N A Oleynikova,Anna Chayka,Vladimir M. Khomyakov,V.V. Kakotkin,M. Yudin,D V Vychuzhanin,Yulia Andreeva,P. Malkov +10 more
TL;DR: Separately taken EBER-status is not a significant independent prognostic factor and can be considered only in conjunction with the «classical» clinical and morphological characteristics, primarily with the stage of the tumor process, since it is they that determine the prognostic properties of the tumors.

Palliative systemic chemotherapy with or without pressurized intraperitoneal aerosol chemotherapy with cisplatin and doxorubicin (PIPAC C/D) for gastric cancer with peritoneal metastasis: A propensity score analysis.
Vladimir Khomiakov,Christoph Meisner,Andrey Ryabov,Larisa Bolotina,Anna Utkina,Ilia Kolobaev,Dmitry Sobolev,Anna Chayka +7 more
TL;DR: A large number of patients diagnosed with gastric cancer with peritoneal metastasis with doublet combinations of platinum and fluoropyrimidines are receiving palliative systemic chemotherapy, and the prognosis is dismal.
