ZIF-8 membranes supported on silicalite-seeded substrates for propylene/propane separation
Shailesh Dangwal,Anil Ronte,Han Lin,Ruochen Liu,Jiahua Zhu,Jong Suk Lee,Heather Gappa-Fahlenkamp,Seok-Jhin Kim +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a ZIF-8 membrane was synthesized on a silicalite-seeded AAO substrate by secondary growth method, and an excellent propylene/propane separation factor of 170 was obtained in a silicallyite-seed ZIF8 membrane with ZnCl2.

Improving antifouling property of alumina microfiltration membranes by using atomic layer deposition technique for produced water treatment
Ghader Mahmodi,Anil Ronte,Shailesh Dangwal,Phadindra Wagle,Elena Echeverria,Bratin Sengupta,Vahid Vatanpour,David N. Mcllroy,Joshua D. Ramsey,Seok-Jhin Kim +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, ZnO atomic layer deposition (ALD) modified membranes were developed for treating produced water from wells in Oklahoma, as a model of produced water, having very high salt and oil content.

High-Flux ZIF-8 Membranes on ZnO-Coated Supports for Propane/Propylene Separation
Anil Ronte,Phadindra Wagle,Ghader Mahmodi,Shailesh Dangwal,Mohammad Reza Saeb,Jong Suk Lee,David N. Mcllroy,Seok-Jhin Kim +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper , an effective vapor-phase technique has been used to synthesize thin ZIF-8 membranes, which were evaluated for propylene/propane separation and showed that the vapor phase solvent-free synthesis minimized the number of chemicals needed to fabricate a thin, highly permeable, and propylene-selective Zif-8 membrane.
