The CubeSat Laser Infrared CrosslinK Mission (CLICK)
Kerri Cahoy,Peter Grenfell,Angela Crews,Michael Long,Paul Serra,Anh N. Nguyen,Riley Fitzgerald,Christian Haughwout,Rodrigo Diez,Alexa Aguilar,John Conklin,Cadence Payne,Joseph Kusters,Chlöe V. Sackier,Mia LaRocca,Laura Yenchesky +15 more
- 12 Jul 2019
TL;DR: The CubeSat Laser Infrared CrosslinK ( CLICK) project as discussed by the authors demonstrated a 20 Mbps crosslink between two CubeSats that each host a laser communications (lasercom) transceiver.

Calibration and validation of small satellite passive microwave radiometers: MicroMAS-2A and TROPICS
Angela Crews,William J. Blackwell,R. Vincent Leslie,Michael S. Grant,I. Osaretin,Michael DiLiberto,Adam B. Milstein,Kerri Cahoy +7 more
- 09 Oct 2018
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented initial analysis from the MicroMAS-2A radiometric bias validation, which compared the measured brightness temperatures to simulated brightness temperatures calculated by the Community Radiative Transfer Model (CRTM) using input from GPS radio occultation (GPSRO), radiosonde, and numerical weather prediction (NWP) atmospheric profiles.

Solar and Lunar Calibration for Miniaturized Microwave Radiometers
Angela Crews,Kerri Cahoy,William J. Blackwell,R. Vincent Leslie,Michael J. Grant +4 more
- 01 Mar 2019
TL;DR: In this article, an algorithm is developed to compare expected effective brightness temperature from solar and lunar measurements to actual measured brightness temperatures to counter noise diode drift for the Time-Resolved Observations of Precipitations structure and storm intensity with a Constellation of Smallsats (TROPICS) constellation.

Laser Crosslink Atmospheric Sounder to Investigate the Effects of Deep Convection on Ozone
Cadence Payne,Angela Crews,Kerri Cahoy,Daniel Cziczo,John Conklin,Michael Hart,Gottfried Kirchengaast,Nicolas Fraunhofer +7 more
- 01 Jan 2018
TL;DR: The laser crosslink Atmospheric Sounder (LCAS) is a prototype toward a low-Earth-orbiting (LEO) constellation to concurrently measure both UTLS water vapor and temperature at high vertical resolution, improving temporal and spatial coverage.
Initial Radiance Validation of On-orbit MicroMAS-2A Data
Angela Crews,Kerri Cahoy,William J. Blackwell,R. Vincent Leslie,I. Osaretin,Michael DiLiberto,Adam B. Milstein,Michael S. Grant +7 more
- 01 Jan 2019
TL;DR: The Micro-sized Microwave Atmospheric Satellite (MicroMAS)-2A is a 3U CubeSat that launched on January 11, 2018, and provided the first CubeSat microwave atmospheric sounder data from orbit.
