Connectivity of Marine Protected Areas and Its Relation with Total Kinetic Energy.
TL;DR: Results indicate high and uni-directional connectivity between MPAs from north to south influenced by the Brazil Current flowing in the same direction and that some MPAs act predominantly as “sink” while others are mainly “source” areas.

Projected wave storm conditions under the RCP8.5 climate change scenario in the North Atlantic Ocean
TL;DR: In this paper , the projected future wave storm conditions in the North Atlantic Ocean are investigated using a Lagrangian methodology applied to a 120 years (1980-2100) dataset resulting from a run of the WAVEWATCH III model forced by EC-Earth winds and ice cover under the RCP8.5 climate change scenario.

TL;DR: Palavras-chave et al. as mentioned in this paper investigated the connectivity between reef areas in the East Continental Shelf (ECS) of Brazil with a hydrodynamic model (ROMS) and an Individual Based Model (IBM - Ichthyop), using groupers (genus Mycteroperca) as functional group.
