Mercury concentrations in the tissues of bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) and striped dolphins (Stenella coeruloalba) stranded on the Croatian Adriatic coast
TL;DR: The magnitude of mercury contamination of dolphins which are indicators of contamination of the Adriatic as well as the Mediterranean Sea was determined and a high correlation was observed between total mercury concentration and age, and adult dolphins contained statistically significant higher concentrations of mercury compared to juvenile dolphins.

TL;DR: Although the calculated EDI for the analyzed Rasa vegetables was 1/8 the toxic dose (>0.4 mg/day), these results call for further research on the dietary and nutritional status of the residents in terms of Se.
