Andrea Trotti
- 06 Oct 2004
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a method for communicating and forecasting the extent of toxicity of a given treatment program by deploying a uniform multi-modality grading system, and capturing significant high-grade events within defined risk periods to create a treatment-specific summary rating or classification of the toxicity experience.
Pentoxifylline in the treatment of radiation-related soft tissue injury: preliminary observations.
TL;DR: Pentoxifylline appears to accelerate healing of STN and reverse some late radiation injuries, the first series to the authors' knowledge that documents activity of this agent in moderate radiotherapy complications such as fibrosis, pain, or mucosal fragility.
