Nd3+-doped LiBaPO4 phosphors for optical temperature sensing within the first biological window: a new strategy to increase the sensitivity
André Scheidegger Laia,Daniela A. Hora,Marcos V. dos S. Rezende,Yutao Xing,José J. Rodrigues,Glauco S. Maciel,Márcio A. R. C. Alencar +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, powders of LiBaPO4:Nd3+ were synthesized by the sol-gel method using PVA as a chelating agent, and X-ray diffraction indicates a tridymite structure with a hexagonal unit cell and space group P63.

Comparing the performance of Nd3+-doped LiBaPO4 phosphors as optical temperature sensors within the first biological window exploiting luminescence intensity ratio and bandwidth methods
André Scheidegger Laia,Daniela A. Hora,Marcos V. dos S. Rezende,Yutao Xing,José J. Rodrigues,Glauco S. Maciel,Márcio A. R. C. Alencar +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, neodymium doped LiBaPO4 phosphors were studied as luminescent thermometers for operation within the first biological window (BW I) and thermal sensing by LIR and bandwidth (FWHM and Δλeff) methods were used and their performances were compared.

Lithium-boron-aluminum glasses and glass-ceramics doped with Eu3+: a potential optical thermometer for operation over a wide range of temperatures with uniform sensitivity
André Scheidegger Laia,Glauco S. Maciel,José J. Rodrigues,M.A. Couto dos Santos,Rogerio Machado,Noelio O. Dantas,Aniele C. A. Silva,Rafael B. Rodrigues,Márcio A. R. C. Alencar +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , Li-boron-aluminum (LBA) glasses doped with Eu3+ were produced by the traditional melting method and X-ray diffraction measurements showed the formation of a crystalline phase.
