Patent
Hydroentangled split-fibre nonwoven material
Anders Strålin,Ahoniemi Hannu,Fingal Lars,Mikael Strandqvist +3 more
- 29 Jun 2004
TL;DR: In this paper, a process for a hydroentangled integrated composite nonwoven material, comprising a web of randomized continuous filaments on a forming fabric, providing an aqueous fibre dispersion comprising splittable shortcut staple fibres with a length of 3-16 mm, preferably 3-10 mm, more desirable 3-7 mm, was presented.

Hydroentangled integrated composite nonwoven material
Anders Strålin,Bemm Camilla,Mikael Strandqvist +2 more
- 29 Apr 2005
TL;DR: In this paper, an improved hydroentangled integrated composite nonwoven material, comprising a mixture of randomized continuous filaments and synthetic staple fibres, where there are no thermal bonding points between the continous filaments, was presented, where at least 70% of the cumulative pore volume is in the pores with a pore radius above 45 µm.

Composite nonwoven material containing continuous filaments and short fibres
Anders Strålin,Hannu Ahoniemi,Lars Fingal,Mikael Strandqvist +3 more
- 19 Nov 2004
TL;DR: In this article, a nonwoven material consisting of a mixture of continuous filaments and short fibres was described, with the continuous filament being substantially mechanically bonded to each other due to entangling of fibres and filaments.

Method for adding chemicals to a nonwoven material
Anders Strålin,Ewa Rucinska,Mikael Strandqvist +2 more
- 22 Dec 2004
TL;DR: In this paper, a method of adding a chemical additive to a fiber web of nonwoven material including cellulose pulp fibers and synthetic fibers and/or filaments is described.

Patent
Method for adding a softening and/or debonding agent to a hydroentangled nonwoven material
Anders Strålin,Ewa Rucinska,Mikael Strandqvist +2 more
- 22 Dec 2004
TL;DR: In this paper, the softening and debonding agent is added via a size press or a foulard comprising a soaking step to soak the hydroentangled nonwoven material, and a pressing step, which causes the added softening/debonding agent to penetrate and impregnate the material.
