Methods for robust gain scheduling
Anders Helmersson
- 01 Jan 1995
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a manga tillampningar for forbattra prestanda ochegenskaper hos fordon och farkoster av olika slag, t ex flygplan och raketer.
Data driven local coordinates for multivariable linear systems and their application to system identification
TL;DR: A new parametrization for state-space systems: data driven local coordinates (DDLC) is introduced, which has numerical advantages as compared to the more commonly used observable canonical form.

System identification using an over-parametrized model class-improving the optimization algorithm
Tomas McKelvey,Anders Helmersson +1 more
- 10 Dec 1997
TL;DR: It is shown that for any chosen (over)-parametrization it is possible to reduce the gradient calculations to the minimal amount by constructing the parameter subspace which is orthonormal to the tangent space of the manifold representing equivalent models.
An IQC-Based Stability Criterion for Systems with Slowly Varying Parameters
TL;DR: In this paper, an integral quadratic constraint (IQC) is introduced for stability analysis of linear systems with slowly varying parameters, where the parameters are assumed to be bounded and with bounded derivatives.

IQC Synthesis based on Inertia Constraints
TL;DR: In this paper, necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a controller with linear matrix inequalities and matrix inertia are derived. But these conditions are non-convex and do not consider the number of negative eigenvalues of a matrix.
