Carbohydrate Intake and Closed-Loop Insulin Delivery System during Two Subsequent Pregnancies in Type 1 Diabetes
TL;DR: In this article , the role of hybrid closed-loop systems (HCLs) in pregnancy was assessed and its association with carbohydrate intake in type 1 diabetes pregnancy was investigated. But, the authors focused on the use of HCLs and not the amount of carbohydrate consumption, which was associated with more time spent in the target range and lower glycemic variability.

Ana Munda,Marjanca Starčič Erjavec,Katja Molan,Jerneja Ambrožič Avguštin,Darja Žgur-Bertok,Draženka Pongrac Barlovič,Draženka Pongrac Barlovič +6 more
TL;DR: Even though dietary patterns of the participants significantly improved during pregnancy, LGA infants were born independently of pre-pregnancy weight or diet and despite good glycemic control, which is needed to explore social determinants of health.
Effectiveness of a comprehensive telemedicine intervention replacing standard care in gestational diabetes: a randomized controlled trial
TL;DR: In this article , the outcomes of telemedicine care and the standard care in women with GDM were compared in a single-center, parallel, randomized controlled trial, where women were randomized to: (1) a tele-medical group, sending glucose readings via an application installed on a smartphone, and monthly individual video calls replacing on-site visits or (2) standard care group with routine monthly onsite visits.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors evaluated the COVID-19 epidemic effects on pregnancy outcomes in Gestational Diabetes (GDM) patients and found that women with GDM were diagnosed earlier and had higher fasting glucose (5.2 [5.8]-5.3] mmol/l) and achieved lower HbA1c by the end of followup.
