On-Line MSR-CORDIC VLSI Architecture with Applications to Cost-Efficient Rotation-Based Adaptive Filtering Systems
Tzu-Hao Yu,Chi-Li Yu,Kai-Yuan Jheng,An-Yeu Wu +3 more
- 01 Oct 2006
TL;DR: A novel on-line mixed-scaling-rotation CORDIC (MSR-CORDIC) VLSI architecture is proposed, which not only maintains the scaling-free property of the original MSR- cORDIC, but also achieves the target of on- line angle computation.
A novel multipath matrix algorithm for exact room response identification in stereo echo cancellation
Jyh-Ting Lai,An-Yeu Wu,Cheng-Chung Yeh +2 more
- 14 Oct 2003
TL;DR: A governing equation, multipath matrix equation (MME) is formulated to provide a systematic mathematical approach for the stereo echo cancellation system and a new cancellation algorithm - multipath Matrix algorithm (MMA) is proposed that keeps the simplicity of NLMS and can find out the real room impulse responses to exhibit better performance.

A stroke severity monitoring system based on quantitative modified multiscale entropy
Wei-Jung Jou,Pei-Wen Huang,Yu-Min Lin,Sung-Chun Tang,Dar-Ming Lai,An-Yeu Wu +5 more
- 11 Dec 2014
TL;DR: A novel stroke severity monitoring system based on a nonlinear method-quantitative modified multiscale entropy (qmMSE) that highly correlates to NIHSS, but also consists with other clinical parameters, such as stroke volume and Glasgow Coma Scale.
Cost-effective constrained particle filter for indoor localization
Chih-Hao Chao,Chun-Yuan Chu,Min-An Chao,An-Yeu Wu +3 more
- 09 Nov 2010
TL;DR: The experimental result shows that the proposed techniques to improve the efficiency of constrained particle filter can achieve higher accuracy at lower cost, both in storage and computation.
A Low-Complexity Grouping FFT-Based Codebook Searching Algorithm in LTE System
Yi-Hsuan Lin,Cheng-Zhou Zhan,Chun-Yuan Chu,An-Yeu Wu +3 more
- 17 Oct 2012
TL;DR: A low-complexity grouping FFT-based precoder selection criterion which is suitable for square codebook is proposed and the relation of precoding matrices to partition LTE codebook, and the FFT scheme is utilized to reduce the number of matrix inversions and matrix multiplications.
