Longitudinal access and exposure to green-blue spaces and individual-level mental health and well-being: protocol for a longitudinal, population-wide record-linked natural experiment
Amy Mizen,Jiao Song,Richard Fry,Ashley Akbari,Damon Berridge,Sarah C Parker,Rhodri Johnson,Rebecca Lovell,Ronan A Lyons,Mark J. Nieuwenhuijsen,Gareth Stratton,Benedict W. Wheeler,James White,Mathew P. White,Sarah Rodgers +14 more
TL;DR: This longitudinal, population-wide, record-linked natural experiment is to model the daily lived experience by linking GBS accessibility indices, residential GBS exposure and health data to enable quantification of the impact of GBS on well-being and common mental health disorders, for a national population.

Study protocol for investigating the impact of community home modification services on hospital utilisation for fall injuries: a controlled longitudinal study using data linkage.
Joe Hollinghurst,Ashley Akbari,Richard Fry,Alan Watkins,Damon Berridge,Andrew Clegg,Sarah Hillcoat-Nalletamby,Neil Williams,Ronan A Lyons,Amy Mizen,Angharad Walters,Rhodri Johnson,Sarah Rodgers,Sarah Rodgers +13 more
TL;DR: The effectiveness of home adaptations, both in preventing hospital admissions due to falls for older people, and improving timely discharge are evaluated, to provide evidence for services at the interface between health and social care, informing policies seeking to promote healthy ageing through prudent healthcare and prevention.
