Impact of Heart Rate Variability on Physiological Stress: Systematic Review
TL;DR: In this article , a meta-analysis is conducted to assess studies that support the use of heart rate variability (HRV) as an indicator of stress, and the most often cited component associated with variance in HRV variables was a drop in the highfrequency band and an increase in the low-frequency band, both of which are markers of diminished parasympathetic activity.

Assessing Heart Rate Variability and Pulse Rate Variability Patterns in Cardiac Patients: Exploring the Utility of Photoplethysmography and Electrocardiography
TL;DR: The idea of PRV rather than HRV can be used to assess sympathovagal regulation in a broad community-based investigation alongside HRV under various clinical circumstances.
A Reproducible Workflow for Liver Volume Segmentation and 3D Model Generation Using Open-Source Tools
Badreddine Labakoum,Hamid El Malali,Amr Farhan,Azeddine Mouhsen,Aissam Lyazidi +4 more
TL;DR: This study evaluates semi-automatic liver volume segmentation techniques using open-source tools, finding that region growing in 3D Slicer outperforms other methods, including a proprietary automatic method, with high accuracy and reproducibility for 3D model generation.
Effects of autoclaving and disinfection on 3D surgical guides using LCD technology for dental implant
TL;DR: A study of 3D-printed surgical guides using LCD technology found that sterilization at high temperatures affects the guides’ mechanical and geometric properties, while disinfection with 70% isopropyl alcohol is recommended.
