TL;DR: Garlic exhibited maximum inhibition of mycelial growth and spore germination over control including sole application of solvent, xylene and field studies reveal that foliar sprays of garlic oil not only suppressed the Alternaria leaf blight infection but also enhanced the total tuber yield.

TL;DR: The kinetics of accumulation of chlorophyll, total so luble sugar and starch, was studied in four potato cultivars, when infected with Phytophthora infestans, and total chlorophyLL content in leaves of cultivars Kufri Chandramukhi and KufiAshoka was significantly decreased.
