TL;DR: In this article , the authors used wearable devices to continuously measure physiological metrics for early illness detection, including temperature, to identify the onset of COVID-19 using machine learning classification, achieving an overall ROC of 0.819 (95% CI [0.809, 0.830]).
Development of a Digital Content-Free Speech Analysis Tool for the Measurement of Mental Health and Follow-Up for Mental Disorders: Protocol for a Case-Control Study
TL;DR: It appears that the tone and modulation of speech are as important, if not more so, than the content, and should not be underestimated.

Methods for detecting probable COVID-19 cases from large-scale survey data also reveal probable sex differences in symptom profiles
Amit Klein,Karena Puldon,Stephan Dilchert,Wendy Hartogensis,Anoushka Chowdhary,Claudine Anglo,Leena S. Pandya,Frederick Hecht,Ashley E. Mason,Benjamin L. Smarr +9 more
TL;DR: In this article , a Bayesian network was used to discriminate between COVID-19, flu, and the common cold based on daily symptom reports collected via web-based symptom survey tools.
Evaluation of a Digital Content-free Speech Analysis Tool to Measure Affective Distress in Mental Health (Preprint)
TL;DR: The use of speech recognition shows a high level of accuracy, not only in terms of the general recognition of a clinically relevant depressive state in the subjects, but there is also a high degree of agreement about the extent of the depressive impairment with the assessment of the experienced clinical practitioners.
