53-year-old man who had recurrent oral and genital aphthous, who consulted urgently for bilateral uveitis that is currently active on the right eye with central and peripheral occlusive vasculitis. The patient was diagnosed with behet’s disease in front of the inflammatory syndrome, ocular involvement and bipolar aphtosis. The management was early based on bolus of methylprednisolone and immunosuppressant, argon laser of ischemic areas. Unfortunately, the evolution was unfavorable with the appearance of prepapillary neovessels and persistence of the macular edema having required several intravitreal injections of anti-VEGF and urgent sessions of PRP with argon laser.

Behçet’s Disease Occlusive Vasculitis Progressing to Prepapillary Neovascularization

Purpose: To report a case of acute hydrops in a 12-year-old child with advanced keratoconus. Case Presentation: A twelve-year-old boy diagnosed as having right eye (RE) infectious keratitis, not responding to antimicrobial therapy, was referred to our hospital. The diagnosis of infectious keratitis was established one month prior to his presentation following an episode of acute corneal whitening, pain, and drop in visual acuity. Topical fortified antibiotics followed by topical antiviral therapy were used with no improvement. Slit lamp examination showed significant corneal protrusion with edema surrounding a rupture in Descemet’s membrane in the RE. The diagnosis of acute corneal hydrops from advanced keratoconus was highly suspected and confirmed with corneal topography ans OCT.

X-linked Retinoschisis (XLRS) is one of the most common macular degenerations in young male [1,2]. We report a clinical case of a 10-year-old boy, with no medical history. At the eye examination, his best corrected visual acuity was 3/10 in both eyes. Slit lamp examination revealed unremarkable findings in the anterior segment of both eyes.

A 17-year-old patient with Marfan syndrome consulted in the emergency department for sudden onset of bilateral ocular pain, with no history of previous trauma, associated with severe headaches and vomiting [1]. His uncorrected visual acuity was reduced to “counting fingers” in the right eye, slit Lampe examination of the same eye showed major anterior dislocation (Figure 1) of a clear crystalline lens, with visible stretched zonules seen temporally.

We report the case of a patient admitted for further management of an eye lost due to a tumor of the ciliary process of the left eye, the patient rbenefited from enucleation with placement of an ocular prosthesis, the anatomo-pathological examination was in favor of a neuroendocrine carcinoma, with no secondary localization.
