TL;DR: The presence of coexisting endometriosis did not change the prognosis of EOC but was associated with better OS in patients with CCOC; however, CCOC at advanced stages had a sooner recurrence and shorter OS.

TL;DR: A laparoscopia e comumente usada na tentativa de reduzir a morbidade cirurgica nestes casos, aproximadamente 10% das mulheres terao que ser operadas devido a um tumor anexial durante sua vida, foi o padrao-ouro para o diagnostico de câncer de ovario.
