Effect of gamma irradiation on the color, structure and morphology of nickel-doped polyvinyl alcohol films: Alternative use as dosimeter or irradiation indicator
Amel Raouafi,M. Daoudi,K. Jouini,K. Charradi,Ahmed Hichem Hamzaoui,Patrick Blaise,K. Farah,K. Farah,Faouzi Hosni +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the results of an experimental investigation of 60Co source γ-radiation effect on colorimetric, structural and morphological properties of PVA films doped with 0.5% Ni2+ ions (PVA/Ni2+).

Investigation of gamma-ray irradiation induced phase change from NiO to Ni2O3 for enhancing photocatalytic performance
TL;DR: In this paper, an irradiated nickel oxide (NiO) thin film was deposited onto glass substrates at 723 K by spray pyrolysis using nickel chloride as precursors.

Gamma radiation effect on activation energy, debye temperature and exciton-phonon coupling in InGaAs/GaAs/AlGaAs(δ-Si) HEMTs
TL;DR: In this article, the gamma radiation effects on the optical properties of δ-Si-doping InGaAs/GAAs/AlGaAs High Electron Mobility Transistors (HEMTs) grown by molecular beam epitaxy on (100) oriented GaAs substrates were investigated.

Polyphenolic extracts from the xerophyte Rhamnus lycioides as a radiation biodosimeter
Sihem Guesmi,Amel Raouafi,Ismail Amri,Ahmed Hicham Hamzaoui,Abdennacer Boulila,Faouzi Hosni,Haïtham Sghaier +6 more
TL;DR: Exposure to ionizing radiation (IR) of the polyphenolic components of the xerophyte R. lycioides has produced significant dose-dependent changes in their optical and morphological properties, which can be valorized as biodosimeters in the dose range from 5 to 25 kGy.

Natural red dyes from Beta vulgaris L. extract for gamma-rays color indicator: Physico-chemical and biological characterizations
Amel Raouafi,Samira Jbahi,Salma Bessalah,M. Daoudi,W. Dridi,Ahmed Hichem Hamzaoui,Sergey V. Dorohzkin,Faouzi Hosni,M Hidouri +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , the structural changes occurring after ionizing radiation were studied by Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) techniques, for the first time.
