Synthesis, crystal structures, biological screening and electrochemical analysis of some salen-based transition metal complexes
Samina K. Tadavi,Jamatsing D. Rajput,Suresh D. Bagul,Amar A. Hosamani,Jaiprakash N. Sangshetti,Ratnamala S. Bendre +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, a series of transition metal complexes with Mn(III), Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(III) have been synthesized by the reaction of [6,6′-((1E,1′E)-(propane-1,3-diylbis(azanylylidene))bis(methanyly lidene)bis(5-isopropyl-2-methylphenol)] with suitable metal salts.

Efficient and practical synthesis of modular chiral β-organochalcogeno amines, ArYCH2CH(R)NH2, and single crystal structures of (S)-MsOCH2CH(Bz)NH3+·Cl− and (R)-MsOCH2CH(Ph)NH3+·Cl−
TL;DR: In this paper, a chiral β-organochalcogeno amines, ArYCH2CH(R)NH2 (4a-4g) was synthesized from chiral aminoalkyl β-methanesulfonate hydrochlorides.

Synthesis, characterization and determination of absolute structures of palladium complexes of novel chiral acyclic tellurated Schiff base ligands
TL;DR: In this paper, the chiral acyclic tellurated Schiff base ligands (R)-L1H, (S)-L2H and (R-L3H) were synthesized via condensation of chiral β-organotellurated amines 2a, 2b and 2c, respectively, with salicylaldehyde.

Synthesis, characterization and single crystal structures of chiral Schiff base and its tetranuclear palladium complex with Pd-O-Pd bridging and Pd-Pd bonds
H.R. Rajegowda,P. Raghavendra Kumar,Amar A. Hosamani,Ray J. Butcher,S. Naveen,Neratur Krishnappagowda Lokanath +5 more
TL;DR: A chiral Schiff base ligand was obtained by acid catalyzed condensation of (2S)-(−)-2-amino-3-phenyl-1-propanol with 2′-hydroxyacetophenone.

Reaction of 3-arylidenepropenoic acid derivatives with triethylamine and other amines; unexpected reductions and vinylogations
TL;DR: In this article, exposure of 2-cyano-3-(2-methoxy-5-nitrophenyl)acrylate 1f to triethylamine in hot ethanol resulted in the formation of the dihydro derivative 2f and vinylogue 3f in high yields.
