Phycitinae Phylogeny Based on Two Genes, with Implications for Morphological Trait Evolution and Heinrich's Tribal Classification (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae)
TL;DR: The first molecular phylogeny of the Phycitinae is presented, based on two independent gene regions (cytochrome oxidase I and elongation factor 1 alpha), and results indicate two major groups of genera in thePhy citinae and that morphological traits appear to correspond to these relationships, although some homoplasy exists.
