Melamine detection in liquid milk based on selective porous polymer monolith mediated with gold nanospheres by using surface enhanced Raman scattering.
TL;DR: Among three morphologies, Gold Nano Spheres integrated in GMA-EDMA Monolith Sensor (GNS@GEMS) was found more effective for detection of R6G than two others and was therefore projected in analysis of melamine sensing in commercial milk.

Cancer nanomedicine: from PDGF targeted drug delivery.
TL;DR: This work identifies a cell surface receptor targeting drug delivery nanosystem based on mesoporous silica loaded with the anticancer drug cisplatin and poly-acrylic acid and identifies the PAA functionalized nanocomposite a suitable and promising nano-medicine for the targeting of PDGF-overexpressing cancers in the near future.
Application of sequential factorial design and orthogonal array composite design (OACD) to study combination of 5 prostate cancer drugs
Xiaolong Jia,Yiyang Li,Alok Sharma,Yulong Li,Guohai Xie,Guoyao Wang,Jun-Hui Jiang,Yue Cheng,Xianting Ding +8 more
TL;DR: Investigation of combinations of five anti-cancer drugs indicated that combination of doxorubicin and docetaxel are the most effective companion, while the combination of cis-dichlorodiamine platinum and dihydroartemisinin showed unknown antagonistic effects which diminished the individual drug anti- cancer efficacy.
