Is the tourism-led growth thesis valid? The case of The Bahamas, Barbados, and Jamaica.
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigate whether there is a causal relationship between tourism growth and economic growth in the Bahamas, Barbados, and Jamaica and find that no equilibrium exists between tourism receipts and gross domestic product in any of the countries studied.

TL;DR: In this article, the causal relationship between FDI and corruption in 42 developing countries using linear and non linear panel methods over the period 1998 to 2009 was determined, and the general value of these results is that adequate institutional facilities must be in place in developing economies to reduce losses from corruption.
