- 01 Jan 2006
TL;DR: In this paper, a general theory of spin transfer was proposed, which does not rest on conservation of total spin, and can assess whether or not current-induced magnetization precession and switching in aparticular geometry will occur coherently.

Spin-orbit interactions in bilayer exciton-condensate ferromagnets
TL;DR: In the absence of spin-orbit and electron-hole exchange interactions there is no coupling between the spin orientations in the two quantum wells as mentioned in this paper, which leads to unconventional magnetic anisotropies, whose strength is estimated.

Global phase diagram of bilayer quantum Hall ferromagnets
TL;DR: In this paper, a microscopic study of the interlayer spacing d versus in-plane magnetic field was performed for bilayer quantum Hall (QH) pseudoferromagnets, and the authors predicted a large anomaly in the bilayer capacitance at the canting transition and the formation of dipole stripe domains with periods exceeding 1 micron.

Functional Renormalization Group Study of Superconductivity in Rhombohedral Trilayer Graphene.
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors employ a functional renormalization group approach to ascertain the pairing mechanism and symmetry of the superconducting phase observed in rhombohedral trilayer graphene.
